Job Description
The Assembler plays a key role in building and packaging products on a production line using hand and power tools. This position focuses on precise mechanical assembly, accurate documentation, and collaboration with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards in a climate-controlled, relaxed environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete product assemblies using hand and power tools in accordance with established procedures.
- Manipulate small and large parts accurately to ensure correct and secure assembly.
- Interpret technical documents and follow written and verbal instructions to perform assembly tasks.
- Work collaboratively on a production line to meet required output and production targets.
- Verify serial numbers on components and finished products to maintain proper traceability.
- Perform quality inspections on parts and assemblies and identify defective components.
- Assemble boxes and packaging materials as needed to support shipping and distribution.
- Sort, stage, and store materials according to organizational standards and workflow requirements.
- Package firearms in strict accordance with company protocols and safety guidelines.
- Complete required daily paperwork accurately and submit documentation to management.
- Assist shipping and receiving teams with unloading materials and performing inventory checks as needed.
- Handle repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and efficiency.
- Stand for prolonged periods while working on the production line and at workstations.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively in a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect defects and inconsistencies in parts and assemblies.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and follow standard operating procedures accurately.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manipulate small parts with accuracy and perform repetitive tasks consistently.
- Comfortable standing for prolonged periods and working on a production line.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Experience with mechanical assembly or manufacturing is preferred.
- Previous assembly experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of production or manufacturing environments.
- Open to training and learning new processes and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail across all tasks, including documentation and material handling.
- Experience in production, assembly, or mechanical work is beneficial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andersonville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
