Responsibilities

• Operate production machines and equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Load and unload parts from machines and monitor equipment performance
• Use hand tools, power tools, wrenches, and measuring devices to complete production tasks
• Inspect parts for quality and ensure products meet specifications
• Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and production standards
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity goals
• Rotate between workstations to support production needs and cross-training
• Report equipment issues, production concerns, and safety hazards promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced production setting
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, wrenches, and tape measures accurately
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and follow established processes

Preferred Experience

• CNC machine operating experience
• Experience with CNC lathes
• Deburring equipment experience
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Initial training on 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) for approximately 2 weeks to 2 months

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.05 - $21.55/hr.
