✨ What You’ll Be Doing (aka Your Superhero Duties):
- Perform the full spectrum of Nuclear Medicine procedures for patients of all ages using state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals (following strict safety protocols—no glowing allowed ✨).
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure smooth clinical operations and accurate results.
- Maintain organized, efficient, and spotless camera rooms—Marie Kondo would be proud.
- Evaluate images like the expert you are to ensure top-notch diagnostic quality.
- Train Residents, Techs, and students—sharing your knowledge and helping shape the next generation.
- Monitor supply levels, assist with state and federal compliance, and contribute to research projects.
- Process image data, including SPECT reconstruction, and transfer images to PACS with accuracy.
- Act as a team leader, helping set goals and elevate the department’s performance.
- Support ALARA goals and respond appropriately to radiation safety scenarios.
What You Bring:
- Strong knowledge of Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT techniques, radiation safety, equipment operations, and image processing.
- Ability to perform detailed, precise procedures—even when the samples are extremely tiny.
- Stellar communication skills, teamwork mentality, and a knack for problem-solving.
- Excellent time management—because juggling multiple exams and priorities is your specialty.
- Confidence to work independently while still collaborating effectively with a diverse team.
Education & Certifications:
- Required:
- Current CA Nuclear Medicine Tech License (NMT-RHN)
- BLS Certification
- AND one of the following:
- ARRT-N (Nuclear Medicine)
- NMTCB Certification
- ARRT-CT
