Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license/certification required
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy settings preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP, educators, and parents
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Adaptability to serve diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support students with speech and language needs under the guidance of a licensed SLP
  • Implement individualized communication interventions in group and one-on-one settings
  • Contribute to the development and execution of IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough records and provide progress updates as requested
  • Communicate regularly with teachers and families regarding student progress
  • Participate in team meetings as necessary
