Job Description
RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We're looking for an experienced Gas Turbine Mechanic to join a world-class manufacturing team in Houston, TX with $25/hr pay for a 1 year contract with potential temp to perm opportunity. What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, inspect, assemble, disassemble, and repair gas turbines and rotating equipment
- Perform visual inspections and functional testing to identify equipment issues
- Repair and modify non-conforming components
- Read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, work instructions, and repair documentation
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges
- Safely operate hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools
- Support coating and mechanical repair operations while following quality and safety standards
- Work closely with the production team to meet repair schedules and customer requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of mechanical repair or overhaul experience (8+ years preferred)
- Experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing, or Oil & Gas
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable reading mechanical drawings
- Experience with coating operations is a plus
- Familiar with ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude
