Forklift Operator / Material Handler

Pay: $17-$20/hour

We are seeking dependable Forklift Operators / Material Handlers to support warehouse and yard operations. This position is responsible for safely operating a sit-down propane forklift, loading and unloading materials, moving inventory, palletizing products, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical labor, lifting heavy materials, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down propane forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, and store materials.
• Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Support shipping and receiving operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through counting and material tracking.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse standards.
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals.

Qualities

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denville, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
