Babysitter Needed

I am on maternity leave and my partner travels often for work. My return to work will be in October and I am weighing benefits, options, and expenses of having an au pair vs a private school. My son will be about 4 months old when I will be looking to structure our new schedule before I go back to work (half-time in October and full-time in November). I have a home and one dog and no other children or people that live with me other than my partner when he is in town for work.
