Physician Oncology-Radiation - Competitive Salary

Opportunity:

Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• 2x8 hour shifts per week or 5x8 hour shifts every other week


• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM; no call or weekends required


• 8 to 10 shifts of coverage needed per month


• See 16 to 20 treatments per day with 1 consult


• Patient population: adults 18 and older


• Practice setting: hospital-based Radiation Oncology department


• EMR: Meditech (Cerner transition underway)


• Special procedures: SBRT preferred, SRS preferred, IMRT, VMAT, and 3D Conformal Radiation Treatments required


• Board certification in Radiation Oncology required, or board eligible within 5 years of training


• BLS certification required; ACLS required if provider requests moderate/conscious sedation privileges


• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience preferred


• DEA required; active state license required

This community hospital facility features 200 beds and provides a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services to the surrounding region. The Radiation Oncology department is equipped to support advanced treatment modalities including SBRT, SRS, IMRT, and VMAT, offering a dynamic and clinically rich environment for radiation oncology professionals.
