American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for an EP Lab position at a major teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience including EP procedures such as ablations and pacemaker/defibrillator implants.
Details- Work in the electrophysiology lab within a cath lab setting at an 838-bed short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center
- Major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)
- Daily caseload of 8–10 cases per tech
- Procedures include EP ablations, PVI, pacemaker/defibrillator implants, and full cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedures including structural heart
- Charting performed in Cerner
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or call required
- May occasionally float within clinical scope to meet facility needs, but will primarily remain in the Cath Lab
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience with competency in all aspects of diagnostic, interventional, and structural procedures
- EP-specific experience required, including pacemaker/defibrillator implants, ablations, and PVI
- ARRT registration required
- Active WV state license required to begin assignment; candidates with a pending license may be considered but must have the active license in hand prior to start
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Please note: WV does not recognize RCIS as a licensed credential to practice in the Cath Lab
- First-time travelers will not be considered; prior Cath Lab/EP travel or permanent experience is required
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing 75–99 miles away may be submitted for facility approval
- No floating to sister facilities required
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Free parking is available for travelers
- No RTO restrictions
