Truck Driver Class- A

We're hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers for our Team Run in and around Connecticut, CT.

We are immediately hiring Class A CDL - FedEx Ground Team Truck Drivers! We are looking for dedicated and professional truck drivers to handle unassigned FedEx Ground runs from the Connecticut area safely and efficiently!

\n

What You'll Do -

\n

\n
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable)
\n
• Perform daily pre-trip/ post-trip and safety inspections on equipment
\n
• Drop Hook Only - No-touch freight
\n
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports
\n
• Maintain accurate daily logs
\n
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (delays, arrivals, equipment problems)
\n
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures
\n
• Perform other duties as required
\n

Requirements -

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
\n
• 1 year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 3 years
\n
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record - No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years
\n
• Pass background check, MVR screening, Clearinghouse login, and drug test
\n
• Ability to attain doubles/triples trailer endorsement
\n
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
\n
