Supervisor

Our operation in Albany, Missouri supports Johnson Controls (JCI) and plays a critical role in the movement, storage, and coordination of air handling units. This position serves as a key link between production, yard operations, customers, and transportation providers to ensure products are loaded, staged, and shipped efficiently.

Shift

1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Additional hours may be required based on customer and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily loading and unloading activities for air handling units
• Manage yard organization, storage locations, and material flow throughout the facility
• Interface directly with Johnson Controls (JCI) and outside carriers regarding shipment scheduling and loading requirements
• Support forklift and material handling operations in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure outbound shipments are loaded accurately and on time
• Track inventory and product movement within the yard and storage areas
• Monitor operational performance and communicate issues to leadership as needed
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating equipment, labor, and loading priorities
• Maintain accurate operational records and shipping documentation
• Follow all company safety policies and customer requirements

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in logistics, yard management, manufacturing, or material handling operations preferred
• Experience operating forklifts and working in industrial environments
• Understanding of yard management and inventory control processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and operations teams
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working both in the office and on the floor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Microsoft Office experience required; Excel proficiency preferred
