This comprehensive Neuroscience Center is a thoughtfully designed, state-of-the-art ambulatory facility that brings together neuromuscular care, general neurology, neurosurgery, pain management, PM&R, headache, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, cognitive neurology, neuroimmunology, primary care, rheumatology, infusion services, EEG, and advanced diagnostic imaging all under one roof. The facility is part of a rapidly expanding Neuroscience Institute with a focus on comprehensive patient care, academics, and research, boasting over 200 neuroscience physicians and advanced practitioners and academic affiliations with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University Medical School.

Job Details:
  • Join a cohesive multidisciplinary team in a brand-new, state-of-the-art ambulatory Neuroscience Center as a BE/BC Neuromuscular Neurologist
  • Focus on treating patients with neuromuscular disorders such as neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
  • Perform electromyography (EMG) studies
  • Work in a collaborative environment with opportunities to develop clinical research
  • Participate in the NCS technician training program
  • Collaborate on the neuromuscular clinical council to develop care paradigms, advance quality of care initiatives, promote patient experience, and identify opportunities for research and innovation
  • Help develop a neuromuscular ultrasound service line
  • Benefit from a structured mentorship program designed to support physicians new to the institute and healthcare system
  • Care is supported by nurse navigation to enhance collaboration and deliver seamless, coordinated patient care
  • Neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship required
