Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced organizational development professional to partner across our client to advance the effectiveness of our leaders and teams. This role will serve as a trusted advisor, skilled facilitator, and credible coach; shaping how the client develops its people and designs its organization in support of its mission. This role bridges strategic advising and hands-on delivery, partnering with leaders at all levels to build individual capability and organizational effectiveness. The Programs Lead position is a member of the Talent and Organizational Development team under the Talent Management function and collaborates with HR colleagues, HR Business Partners, and Leaders to enable the client's staff to be fully engaged and reach their full potential
Critical activities include:
- Design and facilitate workshops, team sessions, and leadership programs for audiences across all levels of leadership and staff.
- Coach managers and leaders to support effectiveness, transitions, and ongoing growth.
- Manage the lifecycle of professional, leadership, and organizational development efforts (from needs analysis and design through delivery and evaluation) leveraging internal experts, external vendors, and evidence-based practices.
- Build integrated leadership development programs that blend classroom, online, on-the-job, and coaching/mentoring experiences.
- Administer individual, leadership, and organizational assessments; translate results into actionable program improvements.
- Partner with managers, staff, and stakeholders to diagnose development needs, source content, and research best practices and vendor offerings.
- Design and implement organizational effectiveness interventions in collaboration with leaders and teams.
- Support broader HR programs and initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational psychology, organizational development, adult learning, instructional design, business, engineering, or similar field.
- Hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of professional, leadership, and/or OD programs including analysis, design, delivery, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated facilitation skills, ability to design and lead workshops across varying group sizes, organizational levels, and audience types.
- Comfortable operating from strategic advising to hands-on delivery of workshops and coaching engagements.
- Experience influencing leaders, subject matter experts, and vendors to implement programs and initiatives, including budget preparation
- Experience driving OD and effectiveness initiatives within and across teams, applying change management practices.
- Able to manage multiple programs simultaneously with appropriate autonomy.
- Familiarity with leadership and organizational assessments, enterprise learning management system (LMS), and human resource information system (HRIS).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of managers and employees
