Associate Attorney

A leading California law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–3 years of California litigation experience who is looking to take on a hands-on role with significant responsibility and courtroom exposure.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing an active caseload, working collaboratively with a team, and handling all aspects of litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation.
\n
• Take and defend depositions.
\n
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions in California state courts.
\n
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents.
\n
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and trial strategy.
\n
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the court.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar.
\n
• 2–3 years of California civil litigation experience.
\n
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
\n
• Experience drafting and arguing motions.
\n
• Strong trial preparation experience; actual first-chair or second-chair trial is a PLUS
