Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to become a part of our team, focusing on medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process managed by the VA. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records through a secure online portal and conduct thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Examine and interpret electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Carefully document findings from assessments and complete necessary VA forms.

Please note: This position does not involve providing treatment or prescribing medications. The determination of disability is made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the psychologist.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Location: Hybrid (combination of in-person and telehealth).
• Caseload: Average of 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

Requirements:

• Possesses a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program.
• Holds an active and unrestricted psychology license.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record review and documentation.
