This contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year runs from August 19th through June 4th, 2027, and offers a rewarding chance to work closely with a self-inclusion classroom of motivated learners.

You'll find a supportive workplace focused on student growth and individualized education, with a manageable caseload of 10 students per class in a single school location. This is a full-time onsite position, offering 37.5 hours per week, ideal for educators who want to immerse themselves fully in the school community.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active LBS-1 Certification for Special Education (required)
  • Proven experience or strong understanding of special education practices within self-inclusion or similar settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Passion for fostering growth, inclusion, and progress for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and guide students across a self-inclusion classroom setting
  • Design and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student goals and IEPs
  • Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to support student success
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom community
