Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Mother Baby to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Provide comprehensive post-partum care to mothers and newborns, including managing vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
  • \n
  • Administer medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate safely and effectively.
  • \n
  • Utilize advanced equipment like CPAP/BiPap and warming blankets for optimal patient outcomes.
  • \n
  • Assist in the operating room as needed, including for C-sections, and attend all deliveries.
  • \n
  • Perform specialized tasks such as obtaining 12 Lead EKGs and managing various pumps and wound vacs.
  • \n
  • Float to NICU or L&D units as required to meet staffing needs.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a post-partum setting.
  • \n
  • BLS and NRP certifications required for this role.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in administering blood products and using OB-GYN and post-op protocols.
  • \n
  • Experience with couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery care preferred.
  • \n
  • Comfortable with role-based tasks such as managing epidural, PCA, and syringe pumps.
  • \n
  • Travel experience required; candidates should not be first-time travelers.
