We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to join our team in a part-time role supporting young people in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, promoting healthy development, and contributing to a team focused on care, consistency, and respect.
Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision and support to youth in a residential setting.
- Build positive, professional relationships that encourage trust, accountability, and personal growth.
- Assist with daily routines, activities, meals, transportation, and other program needs as assigned.
- Support youth in developing social, emotional, and life skills through guidance and modeling.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all times.
- Monitor behavior, respond appropriately to concerns, and de-escalate situations using approved techniques.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other professionals to support individualized care plans.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and safety protocols.
- Experience working with youth, adolescents, or vulnerable populations is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in challenging situations.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic documentation skills.
- Mandated Reporters Training
- Must be able to pass any required background checks and meet applicable licensing or training requirements.
- Experience with trauma-informed care or behavior support practices.
- Familiarity with youth development, mentoring, or residential care environments.
- Training in crisis intervention, first aid, or CPR.
