Retail Cashier Associate

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process customer transactions quickly and accurately
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos when needed
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance over the phone

Qualifications

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse customers
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse community effectively
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately
• Knowledge of POS systems and retail math concepts is advantageous
