Special Procedure Technologist - WCMC Cardiac Catheterization Services - Part Time - 10 Hour - Days - Now Hiring

Job Description:The Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist working in the Cardiac Cath lab and angiography functions as scrub assistant to the physician performing radiographic procedures using angiographic imaging modalities.

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology Required

• Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Radiologic Technology Preferred

• 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Procedural setting performing at least 1000+ procedures per year Preferred

Additional Experience:

• Skilled in cardiac rhythm recognition and hemodynamic values within 6 months of hire

Certifications/Licensures:

• ARRT Rad Techs - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required

• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required

• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Required prior to completion of orientation to the assigned area

• Radiologic Technologist - Certified (CRT) Current California Required

• CRT Fluoroscopy - California Department of Public Health - Radiologic Health Branch Required

• ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Intervention Preferred

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communications skills required.

Pay Range:
