About the Role:
Join Performance Label International Inc as a Rewinder/Quality Control Assistant and be a vital part of our dynamic team in San Diego, CA! This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure top-quality products while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Entry and Intermediate positions available, will train.
Responsibilities:
- Operate rewinding machines to prepare printed materials for shipping.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality metrics.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices in the workplace.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in printing or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to professional development.
- Basic mechanical skills for machine operation and maintenance.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
- Frequent standing, walking and the ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills, ability to read a ruler and use calculator.
- Proper attendance.
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Able to pass a background and drug screen (Per California Law)
