American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Texas, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PICU experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details- 24-bed Pediatric ICU within a Level 1 Trauma Center children's hospital
- High-acuity, fast-paced unit serving neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical ICU patients
- Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on ICU status
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Floating required to all areas as needed, including CVICU and NICU, as well as a 12-bed PICU on the North Campus
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA)
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Copies of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration
- Navy scrubs required; pediatric print tops are permitted
- Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
