Summary:
\nProvide administrative support duties to include assisting with department process improvement, back-up to manager, maintain supplies, coordinate schedules and meetings, and participate in training/in-services for clinical staff.
\nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Maintains daily operations of clinic. \n
- Keeps manager informed of any issues with patients, staff or physicians that are beyond their comfort level or are questionable. \n
- Orders departmental and medical supplies. \n
- Responsible for equipment maintenance/repair. \n
- Conscientious of maintaining budget/spending (confers with manager). \n
- Monitors quality control standards (immunization logs, waived testing, drug sample logs, equipment sterilization logs, etc). \n
- Resolves less complicated patient, staff and physician issues. \n
- Assist s with evaluating associate performance and recommends merit increases (manager disciplines). \n
- Reports to manager any associate non-compliance with approved policies. \n
- Monitors associate work schedule and PTO requests – maintains appropriate staff coverage. \n
- Makes sure NCHD referrals are appropriate. \n
- Assists staff as needed \n
- Follows the CHRISTUS Physician Group guidelines related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI). \n
- Maintains strict confidentiality. \n
- Uses oral and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas in a clear, positive manner that is consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission. \n
- Maintains established CHRISTUS Physician Group policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. \n
- Implements job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission and Code of Ethics and supportive of CHRISTUS Physician Group’s cultural diversity objectives. \n
- Supports and adheres to CPG Service Guarantee. \n
- Performs other related work as required. \n
Requirements:
\nEducation/Skills
\n- \n
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing \n
- Excellent computer knowledge and skills that include data input/abstracting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience
- \n
- Minimum 2- years of experience \n
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- \n
- Registered Nurse license \n
- CPR Certification through American Heart Association \n
Work Schedule:
8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
