Job Title: Heat Treat Operator- Casting
Job Category: Light Industrial
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00 am; 3rd Shift 11:30pm-8:00am

Pay: $18/hr +$1 shift differential

Job Summary

The Position follows standard work instruction and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Monitor Heat treat operations
Complete hardness test
Off load parts when necessary

Equipment and Hand Tools Used

Heat Treat
Hardness checker
Air Buffer
Gorbel Crane

Education and Aptitudes

High School Diploma or GED required
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours per shift
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively
Strong motor coordination and eye-hand-foot coordination
Ability to distinguish colors
Willingness to work off-shifts and overtime as needed

Required Skills

Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
No physical restrictions that would prevent lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly

Desired Skills

Prior manufacturing or machining experience preferred
