Our client, a leading organization dedicated to workforce development and employment services, is seeking someone to join their team for a 2--month contract. As a  Career Coach, you will be an integral part of the Workforce Development Department supporting individuals in achieving their employment goals. 

Job Title: Tampa Career Coach ( On-site 2- month contract) 

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $18-$20/hr

Shift:  Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm or 10:00 am - 7 pm ( occasional Saturday) 

What's the Job?

  • Assist with the application and eligibility process. Manage the Application database while maintaining proper documentation.
  • Provide coaching to customers on program requirements, employment strategies, vocational training, and job search techniques.
  • Develop individualized career plans based on customer goals and program standards to promote self-sufficient employment.
  • Address customer needs and employment barriers, and create resolution plans with clear outcome timelines.
  • Determine eligibility for funding, such as financial aid programs, PELL grants, student loans, and scholarships.

What's Needed?

  • Valid Florida Driver's License.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and employment services. 
  • Familiarity with online job exchange systems and keyword search tools.
  • Excellent computer skills
