Brakes Repair Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, an industry leader in automotive and industrial repair, is seeking a Brakes Repair Technician to join their team. As a Brakes Repair Technician, you will be part of the industrial maintenance department supporting the assembly and repair of brake systems and related components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Brakes Repair Technician

Location: Westminster, MD

Pay Range: $20.55

Shift: 6am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Assemble components such as sub-assemblies, brake units, door motor drives, wiring harness, and detail parts at the assembly bench.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Perform cleaning of machinery and equipment, including compressors and brake equipment, using various cleaning methods.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment as instructed.
• Support and assist other technicians and team members, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of relevant experience in industrial assembly or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and crouching.
• Basic knowledge of assembly and mechanical systems.
