Are you a high-performing, mission-driven sales professional who wants to use your skills to make a real difference? A local non-profit is looking for a self-motivated Sales Executive to join their growing team in Johnston, RI.
In this role, you will drive business-to-business (B2B) sales by providing affordable, high-speed mobile internet access to nonprofits, schools, libraries, and healthcare organizations nationwide. Compensation & Location:
- Pay Rate: $28.00 - 30.00 per hour
- Location: Johnston, RI (Office environment with occasional travel for events)
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Proactively manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals to meet revenue and customer acquisition targets.
- Strategy Optimization: Partner with the Sales Manager to test, learn, and refine lead criteria and outreach messaging month over month.
- Client Relationships: Guide community organizations through needs assessments, conduct virtual or in-person meetings, and build long-term partnerships.
- Data Tracking: Manage and log daily sales activity, pipelines, and performance metrics using Salesforce.
- Collaboration: Share target market trends and insights with marketing and business development teams to continuously improve sales tools and scripts.
- Event Support: Provide occasional onsite sales support at conferences, expos, and client events.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, account management, or building a sales portfolio.
- Core Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience in cold calling and lead generation.
- Communication: Exceptional listening, presentation, and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Technical sales or broadband industry knowledge is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
