Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for guests. This role ensures guest rooms, hallways, and public areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
• Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed
• Clean bathrooms, ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene standards
• Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and linens
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
• Follow hotel policies and procedures for cleanliness, safety, and security
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
