Job Title: Avionics Repair Technician
Job Description
This hands-on position requires effectively troubleshooting and repairing all avionics and electrical equipment with minimal supervision. The role is crucial for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes to achieve total customer satisfaction. You will be working within the Service Department to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and squawk free.
Responsibilities
- Effectively troubleshoot and repair all avionics and electrical systems on aircraft.
- Show a strong willingness to learn new electrical and avionics systems.
- Communicate progress with the Department Manager and team members regularly.
- Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.
- Complete all paperwork daily in a concise and legible manner.
- Report any unresolved problems or repair delays to the Department Manager.
- Report any discrepancies related to company tooling/equipment.
- Learn, understand, and follow the company work order and parts requisition process.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and efficient work area.
- Repair and calibrate shop equipment as assigned.
- Inspect avionics repairs and avionics modification work as necessary.
- Assist with the training for Avionics Repair Technician level 1 personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- 2-5 years of Avionic experience.
- Experience with aircraft electrical systems.
- Corporate aviation experience.
- Proficiency with Garmin systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- FCC Licensing is a plus.
- Bench repair capabilities are advantageous.

Work Environment
This role offers first or second shift openings, typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, normally totaling 40 hours per week. The position is located at the Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, MN, in an updated, semi-climate-controlled facility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
