Overview

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Phlebotomist, where you will play a vital role in patient care by drawing quality blood samples in a clinical setting. This position offers an opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced environment while building trust with patients and ensuring accurate laboratory specimen collection.

Responsibilities

Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established safety and procedural guidelines.

Prepare specimens accurately for laboratory testing and processing.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of specimens collected and procedures performed.

Interact professionally with patients, explaining procedures to foster reassurance and confidence.

Perform specimen collection and processing duties with a focus on process excellence and confidentiality.

Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for patients and staff.

Support the team by performing daily tasks accurately and timely, under the supervision of the area supervisor.

Required Skills

Proven phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Keyboard and data entry experience.

Additional Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required; over one year preferred.

Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
