Join our dynamic Toolroom Department, where you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining progressive dies used in high-volume stamping production. Utilize your skills in manual machining to program and run manual lathes or mills. Experience in CNC is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Program and run manual lathes and mills to support the Toolroom Department.
- Utilize vertical mills, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses effectively.
- Assist in making tooling used in current dies.
- Work on progressive dies as needed.
- Proficiency in manual machining, including the use of vertical mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform visual inspections.
- Competency in shop math and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with die cutting and tool & die sharpening.
- CNC machining and set-up experience.
- Knowledge of machining tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Experience in progressive die work and machine operating.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean shop, especially in the tapping area, though it can be loud at times. Our facility has recently expanded by an additional 25,000 sq ft for new machinery and warehousing space. You'll be part of a very friendly group of people.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.97 - $32.65/hr.
