Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join a leading food manufacturing operation in Union City, CA. This position plays a key role in maintaining equipment reliability and supporting efficient production in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with food manufacturing machinery and production systems.
Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour
Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Third Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- T/H
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, including motors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Maintain and repair food processing, packaging, and production line machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Install, align, and adjust machinery while adhering to food safety standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical or vocational training preferred.
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical repair required.
- Food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Industrial food production environment.
- Physical labor required, including standing, lifting, and equipment maintenance.
- Exposure to noise and varying production conditions.
- Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
