General Sonographer (Mobile)

Position: General Sonographer (Mobile) – Full-Time Permanent
Location: Omaha, NE
Pay: $40.00–$50.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Travel to healthcare facilities using a company-provided vehicle to perform mobile ultrasound exams.
• Operate portable ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Electronically transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Verify physician orders and patient identity before every exam.
• Communicate with dispatch throughout the workday regarding case assignments.
• Complete required documentation and billing paperwork daily.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and company vehicle.
• Deliver compassionate, professional patient care while working independently.
• Follow company policies, HIPAA requirements, infection control procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications-:
Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Current ARDMS or CCI certification
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Basic smartphone and computer proficiency

Preferred:

• Ability to provide copies of current certifications, registries, and diploma upon request
• Experience working independently in mobile imaging or multiple clinical settings

Physical Requirements:

• Lift approximately 20 pounds of portable ultrasound equipment.
• Transport equipment using a wheeled cart over varying distances.
• Frequent driving, standing, walking, bending, and positioning equipment throughout the workday.
