Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Transplant/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, working night shifts with telemetry monitoring skills required.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
\n
• Transplant unit patient population
\n
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:5
\n
• Performs IV starts and telemetry monitoring
\n
• Uses Epic for documentation
\n
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–7:30)
\n
• Primarily weekday schedule with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
\n
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active OH RN license or compact RN license required at time of consideration
\n
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
\n
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
\n
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership (Charge RN acceptable as 2nd reference); no coworker references accepted
\n

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

• Former employees of this facility are eligible to apply after a minimum 6-month separation

• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or less per contract

• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after contract signing — candidates outside Ohio should be prepared to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet as quickly as possible upon receipt
