Professional RN Team Lead
Schedule\nShift: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
\n Every other weekend and holiday required. Floating to other units as staffing permits.
The Professional RN Team Lead is responsible for time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization in patient care. This role includes direct patient care such as assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in patients' conditions. The RN Team Lead collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team and advocates for patients. The role may require stepping down to an LPN Med Cart position as needed and as staffing permits.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Demonstrate effective time management and critical thinking skills. \n
- Conduct assessments, monitor patient conditions, and report changes appropriately. \n
- Advocate for patients while practicing ethically and professionally. \n
- Promote evidence-based practices and maintain clinical competence specific to the care area. \n
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively. \n
- Document thoroughly and appropriately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR). \n
- Participate in unit councils and staff meetings. \n
- May require lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or sitting for extended periods. \n
- \n
- Active State RN License. \n
- Completion of required education within specified timeframes. \n
- Strong skills in clinical care, including the ability to operate required equipment. \n
- Ability to provide a Fit Test, TB Test, and proof of various vaccinations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap). \n
