Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care in an operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio across 11 operating rooms
- Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
- Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments throughout the surgical process
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards
- Perform duties and responsibilities consistent with facility mission, values, and service standards
- Fulfill call, float, and weekend requirements as required by the facility
- Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in an Operating Room setting
- Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1 through April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Experience with Stryker equipment
- 3 or more years of Operating Room experience
- Familiarity with a high-acuity surgical environment including trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases
- Work at a nationally recognized Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI Center located in southwestern Missouri with a strong history of compassionate specialty care
- Ceil blue scrubs are supplied by the facility, and the assignment offers a consistent 36-hour weekly guarantee in a structured OR environment
