PT sales associate (Mojave Flea Yucca Valley)

As a team member you will be working alongside these founders and artists, maintaining their spaces within our store and representing their brands to our clients. When it comes to Mojave Flea Trading Post, guest experience is everything! Please come with an excellent sense of customer service and attention to detail. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Customer Experience

• Greets and initiates conversation with customers, sharing product recommendations and information about the store and its makers
• Assists customers with fittings rooms and jewelry cases, provides shopping baskets, and utilizes POS systems to complete transactions 

Teamwork + Communication 

• Builds productive relationships with peers; asks for support when needed and makes an effort to help others
• Participates in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, taking time to connect with our brands and makers 
• Contributes to a positive team morale participating in store initiatives such as monthly sales goals
• Provides insights related to the customer and employee experience and communicates feedback to Store Managers

Visual Standards + Daily Operations

• Supports store and brands by restocking as needed and as directed by Management
• Maintains a tidy and organized store, stockroom, and break area
• Supports in floor fixture moves as directed by Store Managers and Visual Team

Role Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience related to retail 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Highly adaptable with an ability to multitask
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and bank holidays (Required)
