Route Delivery Driver - Full-time

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Route Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers on a designated route.

Responsibilities:

• Report to work regularly and timely per daily work schedule.  
• Perform DOT required pre-tip on assigned delivery vehicle.
• Safely drive and operate a 26” box truck.
• Unload freight using a hand truck, or pallet Jack and deliver customer orders in a safe and efficient           manner.
• Use hand-held device for routing, customer delivery information, and signature capture.
• Provide invoices, collect money, and record transactions when making deliveries.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
• Lift packages up to 60 lbs. on a consistent basis and deliver to customer’s location using a delivery             route manifest,  
• Perform DOT required post-trip at end of day.
• Reconcile orders and communicate appropriately and clearly to the transportation manager before leaving for the day.  

Basic Requirements:

• Valid Louisiana Class A or B Driver’s License
• DOT Certified Medical Card
• Clear MVR
• Perform Pre and post trips per DOT. 
• Reliable transportation to and from work  
• At least three years of driving experience in a straight box truck or larger
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. when making deliveries. 
• Must be able to sit for up to three hrs. at a time when driving to first stop on some out-of-town routes.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, walk and occasionally climb when unloading         trucks and making deliveries.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift, push, pull or carry product. 
• At least 23 years of age
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
• Meet delivery timelines.  
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Eligible to work in the U.S

Compensation & Benefits

• $17.00 to $18 hr. to start depending on experience,
