Job Summary:

Vivo Healthcare Normandy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and satisfaction. In this part-time position, you will assist with food preparation, maintenance of the dietary department, and support the dietary team in providing a positive and nourishing experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dietary team with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and serving food

• Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards

• Support patient satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate food delivery

• Monitor and maintain accuracy of patient nutrition requirements and special dietary needs

• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service and minimize delays

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to patient rights and dignity

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience preferred in a healthcare setting

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain a positive and patient-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with dietary software and computer systems a plus
