Dhaka Technologies Limited is
seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise
application development and modernization initiatives for one of its clients.
The selected candidate will be
responsible for capturing, verifying, documenting, and managing business and
system requirements in support of product development, testing, implementation,
and delivery. This role requires strong experience in requirements analysis,
requirements traceability, workflow analysis, system documentation, stakeholder
collaboration, and Agile/SDLC methodologies.
The Business Systems Analyst will
work closely with business stakeholders, end users, developers, QA teams,
project leads, and client representatives to ensure application solutions meet
business needs, technical requirements, quality standards, and operational
goals.
- Capture, verify, document, and manage business,
functional, non-functional, and performance requirements.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the
software development lifecycle, including development, testing, release,
and delivery.
- Work with business stakeholders, end users, and
technical teams to gather and validate requirements for system
enhancements, new functionality, and new projects.
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and system
functionality to identify gaps, improvements, and solution requirements.
- Develop software requirements documentation,
specifications, user stories, process flows, system documentation, and
other project artifacts.
- Facilitate interviews, working sessions, and
requirements-gathering meetings with stakeholders across multiple
management levels.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure
requirements are clearly understood, implemented, tested, and validated.
- Support testing, defect resolution, user acceptance
testing, release readiness, and implementation activities.
- Develop and update user guides, release notes,
standard operating procedures, process documentation, design document
drafts, and requirements traceability matrices.
- Create process diagrams, workflow diagrams, system
diagrams, and related documentation using available modeling tools.
- Conduct business and technical presentations for
stakeholders and project teams.
- Ensure project documentation follows established
standards, templates, and quality guidelines.
- Support the implementation and management of
business-aligned IT services.
- Help ensure application platforms are high-quality,
secure, defect-free, and aligned with industry standards for development,
testing, and deployment.
- Provide backup support outside the primary role as
assigned and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a
related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 15 years of professional experience as a Business
Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software
requirements analysis and documentation.
- Proven experience capturing, verifying, documenting,
and managing software requirements.
- Strong experience maintaining requirements
traceability in support of product development, testing, and delivery.
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels,
including end users, managers, technical teams, QA teams, and client
representatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
including the ability to clearly document stakeholder requirements at both
high-level and detailed levels.
- Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to lead
working meetings and ask probing questions to elicit detailed
requirements.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and
problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating system documentation, user
documentation, user guides, release notes, SOPs, process documentation,
and requirements traceability matrices.
- Working experience with Microsoft Office tools,
including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with modeling and diagramming tools such
as Microsoft Visio and Balsamiq.
- Experience with requirements management and
work-tracking tools such as Jira, Contour, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Agile and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise application
development teams.
- Experience working with developers and QA/QC teams to
support secure, high-quality, defect-free application delivery.
- Experience developing process maps, workflow
diagrams, system diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with IT service delivery, application
lifecycle management, platform support, and system modernization
initiatives.
- Ability to understand and communicate policies,
regulations, operational objectives, and program goals.
- Adaptable, analytical, goal-oriented, driven, and
self-motivated.
