Dhaka Technologies Limited is
seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to support a procurement
system modernization initiative for one of its clients.
The selected candidate will be
responsible for developing, revising, and maintaining procurement-related
templates, process documentation, procedures, training job aids, and
presentation materials in support of a new cloud-based procurement platform.
This role requires strong technical writing, documentation management,
stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to translate complex procurement
processes into clear, accurate, and user-friendly materials.
- Develop and revise procurement sourcing, contract,
and related templates to reflect current policies, procedures, and legal
requirements.
- Create and update procurement process and procedure
documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with applicable
organizational and legislative policies.
- Collaborate with project management teams, legal
stakeholders, procurement staff, and subject matter experts to gather
information required for documentation development.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and working sessions
to collect content, validate requirements, and confirm documentation
needs.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance stakeholders to
ensure documentation meets applicable regulatory and legal standards.
- Ensure all documentation follows established style
guides, templates, formatting standards, and quality expectations.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of existing documentation to
identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce clear, consistent, accurate, and professional
documentation aligned with procurement industry standards.
- Organize and maintain documentation in designated
Microsoft Teams folders, ensuring materials remain current, properly
versioned, and easily accessible.
- Develop simple, step-by-step job aids to support
implementation of new or revised templates, processes, and procedures.
- Prepare presentation materials and user-facing
documentation to support change management, training, and system adoption.
Requirements
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications,
Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 15 years of relevant experience in technical writing,
business writing, documentation, communications, or a related field.
- 11 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite,
including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 11 years of technical writing or documentation
management experience, with demonstrated writing and editing skills.
- 11 years of demonstrated written and verbal
communication experience, with the ability to clearly articulate
information to diverse audiences.
- 11 years of experience collaborating with
cross-functional teams, working independently, and managing multiple
documentation projects simultaneously.
- Must be willing to work onsite 4 days per week in
Washington, DC.
- Experience or familiarity with contract law,
procurement operations, procurement processes, or public-sector
procurement environments.
- Experience supporting system modernization, cloud
implementation, process transformation, or enterprise documentation
initiatives.
- Experience developing training materials, job aids,
standard operating procedures, templates, and presentation decks.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills,
and ability to maintain documentation repositories.
The ideal candidate is a highly
organized and detail-oriented technical writer with strong experience
developing procurement, compliance, process, and training documentation. This
individual should be comfortable working with legal, procurement, technical,
and project management stakeholders and should be able to convert complex
information into clear, structured, and practical documentation.
