Work Schedule (Full-Time)
  • Wednesday 6:30 AM - 8:15 PM
  • E/O Thursday 10:30 AM - 6:15 PME/O Friday 8:30 AM - 3:15 PM3rd Saturday of the Month 7:30 AM - 1:15 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, friendly, and detail-oriented Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time role is ideal for someone with orthodontic assisting experience who is passionate about patient care, education, and creating a positive experience for every patient.

You will work closely with the orthodontist to support clinical procedures while ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the orthodontist during a variety of clinical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
  • Take digital X-rays and impressions (digital scanning experience preferred)
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, orthodontic care, and post-treatment instructions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
  • Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols
  • Deliver exceptional patient care with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications
  • Orthodontic dental assisting experience required
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Open Dental software is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and punctual
  • Passion for patient education and contributing to a strong team culture
