Job Details Job ID: 5761546 Application Deadline: Posted until filled Posted: Jun 4, 2026 Starting Date: Aug 1, 2026 Locations Centennial Hills Campus - Las Vegas, Nevada Job Description Job Title: Lunch Porter Reports to: Campus Principal Location: In-Person, CASLV School Campus – Las Vegas, NV; Position Type: Part-Time(20 hrs per week), 10-Months Position Summary Lunch Porter is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of student meal service, including lunchroom preparation, supervision, sanitation, and cleanup. This position ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students during meal periods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Meal Support - Set up tables, chairs, and trash stations in preparation for lunch periods. - Support food distribution and monitor line flow to ensure efficiency and safety. - Assist with the organization and storage of delivered food items. Student Supervision: - Monitor students during lunch to ensure orderly behavior and safety. - Promote positive behavior and provide friendly guidance to students as needed. - Report any incidents or concerns to school administration immediately. Clean-Up and Sanitation: - Wipe down and sanitize tables and surfaces between and after lunch periods. - Collect and remove trash, clean up spills, and ensure the cafeteria remains tidy. - Follow all sanitation and safety standards as required by school policy and health regulations. Other Duties: - Provide additional support for school events, assemblies, or meal deliveries as assigned. - Communicate professionally with students, staff, and parents. - Maintain confidentiality and follow CASLV policies and procedures. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. - Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Preferred: - Prior experience working in a school, cafeteria, or child-focused setting. - Bilingual (Spanish or other) is a plus. Work Environment - This is an in-person, campus-based role involving active movement, light lifting, and regular student interaction in indoor and outdoor lunch areas.
