Maintenance/General Labor - Full-time / Part-time

PrideStaff has an exciting new opportunity to share for a non-profit organization serving our community. We are seeking an experienced and versatile Temporary Facilities Maintenance Technician to assist with essential property upkeep and repair projects. This is a temporary assignment that requires a broad skill set and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with another maintenance professional to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
• Perform repairs, including replacing and fixing appliances.
• Conduct general tasks such as repairing or replacing closet doors, shelving, and trim.
• Execute minor drywall repair and patching as needed.
• Assist with general grounds clean-up.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized during and after maintenance activities.
• Report any major maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in general building maintenance, handyman services, or a related trade.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of repair skills, minor appliance/fixture replacement, and drywall repair.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute effectively as part of a team.
