Assistant Teachers

We are seeking experienced Assistant Teachers to add to our growing team at our Gold (SUTQ), NAC-accredited childcare and preschool center located in Cleveland, Ohio.

As an Assistant Teacher, you will support the lead teacher in creating a caring and educational atmosphere for infants 6 weeks - 12 months of age or toddlers 1 - 3 years of age. Your responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships with families and working collaboratively with a team of committed professionals to facilitate the growth and development of our young learners.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour (depending on experience and credentials) in addition to an industry-leading benefits package, underscoring our commitment to attracting and retaining top-quality educators and supporting staff members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering learning experiences tailored to the developmental needs of your students.
• Contribute to the creation of classroom lesson plans.
• Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment, adhering to all licensing and accreditation standards.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to design and execute daily activities and routines catering to the unique needs of each child.
• Engage in regular and effective communication with families, providing updates on their child’s progress and developmental milestones.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings to remain abreast of the latest best practices in early childhood education.
