Founded in 1973, is a multi-disciplinary, full-service architecture, engineering, planning, and interior design firm, supporting clients throughout the nation. ISG is looking to add a dedicated Electrical Designer to our dynamic team! As a Designer you will be an working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners to develop creative solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. This role involves collaboration with our architects, engineers, and other ISGers to deliver high-quality, efficient, and sustainable electrical designs.

- Develop electrical design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Perform load calculations, circuiting, and equipment selection
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated design solutions
- Review and apply relevant codes and standards
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and material take-offs
- Participate in site visits and field investigations to verify existing conditions
- Support construction administration by responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design within the AEC industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
