Line Cook - Full-time / Part-time

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

• Previous line cook, prep cook or kitchen experience is preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and instructions
• Knife skills or willingness to learn
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
• Strong communication skills as well as strong attention to detail

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items
• Set up, stock, prep,  and maintain clean organized stations
• Follow proper food handling, labeling, dating, and rotation procedures (FIFO)
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils as needed 
• Take out trash and maintain cleanliness of the dish area, prep areas, and kitchen floors.
