This role is essential in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and structured environment for students. Responsibilities - Supervise students in the cafeteria, serving lines, and at recess (indoor and outdoor). - Assist younger students with opening food and milk containers. - Encourage positive play and recommend activities to promote an orderly recess environment. - Provide lunchroom cleanup between lunch periods, including sanitizing and wiping tables. - Ensure safe use of play equipment and report repair needs to the building principal. - Reinforce expected behavioral guidelines during lunch and recess. - Report all student accidents or incidents promptly to the building principal. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements - Ability to work positively with children and staff. - Strong supervision skills for large groups of students. - Dependable, punctual, and committed to student safety.
