Direct Support Professional - Full-time* - Glasco residence - 34/Saturday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm/Monday and Wednesday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm/Friday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Glasco residence is located between Kingston and Saugerties, and is the home of six wonderful women.  Employees at Glasco provide hands-on care; the ideal applicant will possess a sense of humor, patience, compassion, and will be a dedicated team player.  If you are seeking an opportunity in an organized, family-like work environment, Glasco residence is an excellent choice.   

A high school diploma or GED is desired.  Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus.  An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must.  An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment.  Training will also include Van Certification, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS:  34/Saturday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm/Monday and Wednesday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm/Friday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm

STARTING SALARY:   $ 18.26 to $ 20.09 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable
