Occupational Therapist OT - PRN, Per Diem
Williston Care Center, Williston, FL
Williston Care Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our In-House Subacute Rehab team. As a member of our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong commitment to improving the functional independence of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving patients’ daily living skills, mobility, and overall independence.
Provide therapeutic interventions including activities to improve motor skills, strength, and coordination.
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to meet patient goals.
Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve function and independence.
Document therapy services provided, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Florida (or eligibility).
Experience in a subacute, rehab, or long-term care setting is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
